Back
in the year 2000, we followed a long trail leading
to a cliff face depicting prehistoric figures
and geometrical designs. Painted in an indelible
red pigments derived from soil, tree gum and animal
fat, the paintings are thought to date back some
4000 years. Covering an area of 170 m along the
rock surface, the paintings include depictions
of fish traps, wild animals, giant cock roach
like fish, angular human beings, and a 30 meters
stretch of handprints.
These prehistoric paintings
at Pha Taem in Ubol Ratchathani province then
became our inspiration for photo shooting ...
whoever those artists that created these decorations
are, and for whatever purpose, we all have the
same thing in mind: to share what we've seen through
pictures.
We do hope you enjoy our site; in other words,
our digital cliff face !!!
